Our Story
My Dad and I started our author journey on the 21st of April of 2017, working together to create our award-winning and bestselling novel series, Gabriel Lock. In 2025, the most common phone call I received from friends, family, and others was about the publishing process and who to trust. It was from there that we decided to open our own publishing house and give authors the home that they deserve with the people they trust.

About Us
Humberto Cancio, Jr.
Humberto was born in Cuba in 1953 and immigrated to the United States at the age of six. At twelve, he moved to Spain, where he attended the American School of Madrid. He later attended Duke University, graduating in 1975, before earning his J.D. from the University of Florida. Humberto has practiced law for more than 45 years and is AV Preeminent Rated. He is married to Alicia and has four children: Veronica, Jorge, David, and Amanda. He is also the proud grandfather of three grandchildren.
David N. Cancio
David was born in Miami, Florida, in 1991 and has lived in both Florida and North Carolina, where he graduated from NC State University in 2013. A native speaker of both English and Spanish, David also speaks Portuguese, German, and Italian, giving him a natural aptitude for communication, sales, and client success, where he has dedicated himself for the past ten years. Outside of work, David is quite the “Funcle” and enjoys spending time with family. In his spare time, he loves reading, considers himself a movie buff, and enjoys traveling and following sports.
